introductory session. The Intro Session
is a one-on-one session with one of our CrossFit coaches. The coach will teach you three basic CrossFit movements and put you through your first WOD (workout of the day)
. This workout will give you a good idea of what we do at CFD. If you like it, your next step is to schedule your Starter Series.
You are ready for the Starter Series
. This is CFD’s version of a “foundations program.” In these one-on-one (or very small group) classes, the coach will teach you the fundamental movements of CrossFit. These sessions focus on healthy alignment in order to prepare you to safely attend CrossFit classes. The Starter Series typically consists of 3 or 4 one-hour sessions (the amount of time spent in the Starter Series usually depends on the skill level of the participant). We make sure you are fundamentally sound and comfortable with the lifts and movements before graduating you into our CrossFit classes. Once you have completed your Starter Series, you are ready to attend any CrossFit class on our schedule.
